Happy 4th!!

This is definately a different 4th of July! I am usually ALL about the fireworks but tonight I sit inside and listen!! We celebrated with Katie and Nathan's wedding so Maddie and Isaiah were both really tired so they went to bed early, Antaun had to work so I have been cleaning!! What fun! Maddie and I did watch a few from our bedroom window! It's funny how things change as you get older with babies!

Congratulations Katie and Nathan St. Clair!!

Nikki will be proud of me!! This is from the same day!

Random Summer Fun

We went to this fun thing at our church called "Reminisce" and all the ladies brought their wedding dresses and albums and we shared memories from our weddings. Madison loved to play dress up with all of it! It was a lot of fun. I love this!Madison painting daddy's Father's Day cross
Isaiah's first taste of popsicle, he was not a big fan.

Madison groovin' to Funky Mama, for those of you who have not seen Funky Mama, it was an experience to say the least!!

This little girl watched Maddie the whole time and looked at her like she was nuts!! We made these silly hats at this fun thing called "Popsicles in the Park"
You can't tell from the picture but Maddie thought it was sooo cool.

Something about this picture I liked!

So Proud!!!

The past month has been so busy! But full of excitement and milestones! Isaiah is one wild little man!! Our big 9 and a half month old, I can't believe in a few short months he will be 1!!! It has been so fun to learn about being a mommy to a little boy! I have learned ALWAYS even if I am moving the stroller for a few seconds, always belt him in! The other day he was standing straight up in the stroller. Isaiah is a climber, he climbs OVER our barricades on the stairs and heads up to the top!! Yesterday I put him down on the deck for just a couple of seconds and he went straight for our pot of dirt!!!!!! HE IS ALL BOY and we love it!
Lately he has made several attempts at saying Maddie, he said nanna for banana!! He babbles all the time and when he wants out of his crib in the morning he tells us all about it!!
Which leads me to BIG NEWS in the Peppers House!! The other night I randomly decided to let him cry it out to learn how to sleep!!!!!!!!!! For those of you that know me well this was HUGE!! It was at the point where he wanted me to come in and rock him back to sleep. He cried for 30 minutes the first time, I sat on the couch VERY angrily with my ears plugged and thought, "I can't believe people tell you to do this." After 30 minutes suddenly it was quiet, I knew something had happened so I creeped into his room, I had to know he was still breathing and he was!! Now he does cry for a few minutes everytime I lay him down but he is sleeping completely through the night!! I feel like a new woman!!!! =)
I've learned a lot through it and I am REALLY thankful I did it! I haven't felt this proud of myself for awhile. This really was something I didn't think I could do! And it makes me feel like we will and can have more children!! I was wondering there for awhile. Of course many years from now!!

These are for Nikki!!

Well my big bully sister (kidding) was about to have a fit if I didn't put some pictures on here so here you go... Now no more mean phone calls!!! We finally went swimming this summer and had a great time. Maddie loved the water, was a lot more cautious but got braver as the day went along. Isaiah LOVED the water, he was so fun to watch. He has NO FEAR of course, so he didn't get very far at all from his mama!!
