The Tumpun (Pumpkin) Patch!!

We recently made a fun trip to the Pumkin Patch! It was a blast and a beautiful day. Maddie loved the animals, the goats were her favorite. The llama was Antaun and I's favorite. It was kind of a bummer because my camera battery died right when we finally went to pick out our pumpkin at the patch. But we still had the video camera!! I put TONS of pic's on here, I just could pick between them all. Beautiful Creation

Our Little Polka Dot

Madison's newest adorable thing that I love is saying her name, she says Maadisawn, very clearly and properly and then we say, what is your last name? She says, Peppors, very clearly and properly!! It is the cutest. I love it! Maadisawn Peppors
SOOO, grown-up.

Oh the many faces of Madison!!

Daddy's Little Girl

Madison has become quite the daddy's girl. For those of you who don't know, I am working 20-25 hours a week at a Senior Citizens Independent Living apartment here in our town, it is a Social Work type job. I really enjoy it and it has been SOOOO good for Antaun and Madison, his schedule works out where he can be with her while I am gone.
Madison now cries very hard not only when mommy leaves but also when daddy leaves, she says, "daddy eee att wook," (frown). Antaun of course secretly loves that. =) She yells, yaaaaaaeeeee when daddy gets home and runs with open arms, of course Antaun LOVES this also! I love to see them bond more and more everyday.

I Love My Girl!

I was thinking this week about how much I love being a mommy to Madison. She is such a wonderful blessing, I thank God everyday (maybe 20 times) =) for blessing our lives with her. I never ever knew how much love you could have in your heart for such a little person. Antaun and I were talking this week about how much we love her. It was a neat conversation because the love we were describing for her was so deep something you can't even explain or put in to words but we both knew what the other was feeling. Then it made me think about God when He had to give up His Son. He felt that same intense love we feel for Madison for Jesus but He still gave Him up, for me (and you). And then the Lord reminded me just how much He loves me. He sacrificed something so special because He loved me. Wow, I was so thankful to the Lord for reminding me just how much He loves me and I felt like I could feel just how much because of the love I have for Madison.
So for all you reading, Remember how much the Lord loves you, He gave up His Son, that is how much He loves you!!
I love you all too!! =)

What a blessing!

I haven't been able to put any new pictures up lately because my camera battery charger is broke and I am in the process of them sending me a new one. It is killing me to not be able to take pictures. I have been videoing like crazy!!

Cute things Maddie has done lately...
The other day she asked for milk, so I poured her a little bit and she took one drink, made a funny face and very confused she said, chottett (chocolate)???? I cracked up. She definately has her mommy's love for chocolate already!

For about a week we had these little pesky fly things flying around our house. Anytime I could I would smack my hands together and try to kill them. One time of doing that, I said darn bug as I clapped my hands to try and kill it. Madison now goes around the house regularly saying dawn bug and smacking her hands together. She thinks it is hilarious. It's a good thing, I didn't slip and say d**n bug, huh? =)

The other night Antaun and I were tucking Maddie in (in our bed of course), we prayed and then started singing the song "I stand in awe of you, Jesus I am so in love with you." Madison was really singing with us, she belted out AWWW of you, Jesus. I listened, tried to keep singing and then just started crying. It was one of those moments I will never forget. She was praising the Lord at 20 months!! Precious.

We were at my parents house for supper the other night getting ready to eat. We kind of forgot to pray and were getting ready to eat, Madison held out her hands to us and said pway, pway (pray). Melted our heart. Grandma said, "Out of the mouths of babes" and Grandpa thanked Jesus for Maddie's reminder.

Madison says hi repeatedly to everyone she sees in stores, restaurants, etc... The other day we were at Panera (surprise, surprise) She waved and smiled and said hi to everyone who passed by. An elderly woman came up to her and said, you are the friendliest little girl I have ever seen. She then went up to a stranger (a man) and wrapped her arm around his leg hugging him. Hmmm, what are we gonna do about this!! I encourage being nice and then it is like oh, no not that nice!!

New words...
pweese
tint too (thank you)
no mama
wook (work)

Antaun and I talk often about what a blessing Maddie is to our lives. She keeps us laughing constantly. Pictures to come!!

Old McDonald Had a Farm

I was running Maddie's bath water, when I came in to get her she was sitting and playing with all her animals. I stood at the door quietly and watched her. It was quite hilarious!! She is changing a lot, I love this age. She is so much fun, little Ms. Personality. My camera battery has been messing up so I haven't been able to take very many pictures to post. I am trying to get it fixed right now! Hopefully this one will make you all laugh!

ANNOUNCING... Antaun Peppers, The New Urban St. Louis Area Director!!!!!! And he's MY husband!!

Well, we received a call this week from St. Louis Young Life offering Antaun the position as Urban Area Director. He will be working with an inner city school in St. Louis developing relationships with the kids and then he will lead a Bible Study one night a week. He will also be in charge of volunteers, some fundraising and connecting the youth to churches and small groups. You can read more about Young Life at http://www.younglife.org/.
When the phone rang, I happened to be reading my Bible and praying and the Lord told me, "they are going to offer him the position." I just knew it, I was reading Psalm 31 and it was so encouraging to me.
It says, "But as for me, I trust in you Oh Lord, I say, You are my God. My times are in your hand." I could hear the Lord saying, Just trust in me Kimberlee, I know what I am doing!!! I tend to think I have it all figured out!
We did not tell them a definite yes because we wanted to pray and write down some questions and just process everything. They are still raising some of the funds for the budget this year, so they did not expect an answer yet. Because of everything with Pennsylvania, we learned to not plan anything because the Lord can change it at any time!! But at this point, our hearts are telling us this is the door to walk through.
I just have to say I am very proud of my wonderful husband. I have prayed since we have been married that Antaun would have a job he enjoyed and felt like he was called too. I am thankful because I feel like this is what I have been praying for.
Now we just pray for the details, like selling our house, moving away from family, finding housing in St. Louis, just everything that comes with moving. But I know all of that will work out especially when the Lord is in control!!
